Steps to apply to the Nursing program

Complete all steps to apply to the Nursing program at Jamestown Community College.

Before you start the application

Watch the recorded information session, which will will cover key aspects of the requirements for the Nursing program.

1. Apply to JCC

Complete the general admission application process to JCC. If you are a current JCC student, skip to step 2.

  • All official transcripts, high school equivalency diplomas/scores, college and/or military transcripts must be submitted to the Admissions office to process your application.
  • All nursing applicants will be initially accepted as Individual Studies majors as a nursing candidate.

2. Review eligibility for program

Review Nursing program eligibility requirements.

3. Complete the TEAS exam

If all eligibility requirements are met, complete the TEAS exam and have scores submitted to JCC. Scores will be reviewed regularly starting in December and will continue to be reviewed until the program is full.

4. Apply to the Nursing program

For first-time applicants, log in to your admissions account using the account you created when you first applied to JCC and complete the Nursing Application.

Decision letters will be sent via email after each review. You can check the status of your application by logging in to your admissions account. Decisions will not be given over the phone.
